Yondela Tyawa is the founder of Iziyo Security and Cleaning Services, based in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. Growing up in the community, Yondela witnessed firsthand how crime and insecurity shaped people’s daily lives—limiting opportunities, draining resources, and creating fear. Determined to change this reality, he launched his own security company with a vision: for the safety of Kayamandi to be owned and delivered by the community itself.

As a local entrepreneur, he provides essential security services to schools, businesses, and community institutions, helping to keep them safe in an area where safety is often uncertain.

His dream is to make household security accessible to ordinary families in Kayamandi—ensuring that safety is not a privilege, but a shared right for all.
