Wele Ntloko
Welekazi S’tandwa Ntloko is an Industrial Engineering PhD candidate at Stellenbosch University, researcher, and social innovation advocate. With expertise in sustainable business models and social franchising, she has published and presented internationally on hybridity and inclusive development. Beyond academia, Welekazi is a co-author, entrepreneur, and media personality passionate about empowering communities through innovation, collaboration, and purpose-driven leadership. At Impact Hub she brings her vision for creating inclusive ecosystems that foster entrepreneurship, social impact, and sustainable growth. Her work embodies a commitment to bridging research and practice for meaningful change across Africa.
Marli Goussard
Marli Goussard is an impact entrepreneur and NGO sector specialist with 25 years’ experience in impact design, impact management, and micro enterprise development. She co-founded Impact Hub Cape Winelands in 2025, the local arm of the global incubator, making impact innovation accessible to grassroots communities while integrating academic expertise. Previously, she co-founded the CoCreate Hub in Stellenbosch with Ranyaka Community Transformation and chaired the Stellenbosch Civil Advocacy Network for nearly a decade. Marli also serves as a non-executive Board Member of Fix Forward, is a partner in The Values Journey personal development programme, and more recently published a personal reflection journal.
Jasmine Jacob
Jasmine is a systems scientist and facilitator creating safe spaces for critical thinking, collective learning and experimentation in the Cape Winelands. Since 2010, Jasmine has worked with 17 different impact organisations and groups across South Africa, with the last decade focused on creating clarity and shared understanding for collaboration across sectors and disciplines. In 2022, she began independently honing the skills to support collective sense-making, evidence-based decision-making and strategic action in multiple localities in the Cape Winelands. Jasmine was a recipient of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation entrepreneurial fellowship and has a BSc in Environmental Sciences, a PGDip in Sustainable Development with further courses in Social Entrepreneurship & Systems Change and Adaptive Programme Management. She is also the daughter of two inspiring Indian-born teachers.
Danie Jacobs
Danie Jacobs is a serial social entrepreneur and educator, best known as the founder of Young Entrepreneurs (Pty) Ltd, which equips kids and teens with entrepreneurial, financial literacy, and self-employment skills. He launched the Young Entrepreneurs Foundation in 2016 to broaden access and the Young Entrepreneurs Virtual Academy in 2018 to scale digitally. Earlier, he founded and directed the Centre for Business Dynamics, a self-sustaining unit of the UFS Business School (2004). Danie holds three master’s degrees—Medical Sociology, Higher Education, and an MBA. His passion is to inspire dreams, unlock potential, and instill an entrepreneurial mindset in individuals.Â
